Description

This four bedroom coastal cottage was completed in June of 2020 and still feels like a new home. The home is located only seconds to South Beach Access by golf cart and is a very short walk to the shops and restaurants of the maritime market area. The cottage features a traditional open floor plan with the kitchen, dining, living, laundry and master bedroom all on the first floor. All rooms offer plenty of windows allowing for wonderful natural light throughout the day. The large, well stocked, gourmet kitchen features a huge island with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, a nice sized pantry, and a large single basin sink. The master bedroom has a king bed, a 50 inch TV, a desk, and a spacious bath with a tiled walk-in glass shower, double vanity, and separate water closet.

Upstairs there are 3 additional bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.
Upstairs bedroom 1 features a king bed, walk in closet, and an ensuite bathroom with a tiled tub/shower combo. Upstairs bedroom 2 features a king bed, walk-in closet, and a 50 inch TV. Upstairs bedroom 3 is a kids room with two twin beds. There is an additional large bathroom upstairs with a double vanity and tiled walk-in shower.
This home sleeps 8.

If you love indoor/outdoor living then this is the home for you. There are plenty of places to gather outside. The front porch with two rockers, a bench, and a full size outdoor couch (not pictured) is a lovely space to start your day with a cup of coffee and end your evening with a few drinks. Next, there is a screened in porch with a full size outdoor couch, coffee table and dining table for four. Finally, there is a deck with an outdoor table with umbrella that seats 6, plus an outdoor shower, gas grill and easy access to the double garage. This home offers a six passenger and a four passenger golf cart to explore the island.

A lifestyle membership to the Bald Head Island Club is available with this rental but not included. This home offers GOLF access and it allows you and your family access to the pools and restaurants .

We do not offer bikes, as we do not maintain them, but you can rent them from Riverside Adventure or Coastal Urge on the island. Beach chairs and towels are provided.

Fabulous House and Location

We stayed one week with our adult children, spouses, and kids - total of 8. While the house may seem small from the outside, it was very spacious and well laid out. Kudos to BHI rentals and the cleaning staff they employ - everything, from fridge, stove, bathrooms, bedrooms - was very clean and well organized. Thank you for that! There were plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, etc. for guests to use so there is no need to bring those from home. While touring the island one evening in the 6-seater golf cart, we had a flat. We spoke with a BHI agent who assured us it would be taken care of the next morning and asked if we needed assistance getting back to the house. Fortunately, a lovely couple driving by came to our rescue and made two trips to bring us back to the house. The tire was repaired as promised the next morning and delivered to the house. All in all, this stay felt like we were staying at our own home - it was so refreshing to stay in a house that is so tastefully decorated and with thoughtful touches throughout. We will definitely want to rent this house again next year.

Stayed in September for a week with two families. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a great week of weather. The house was perfect for our group. We were all very comfortable and never felt cramped, with three bedrooms, all having attached bathrooms, and multiple places to enjoy quiet time. Enjoyed sitting on the back screened in porch reading a book on the one day it did rain, cooking fish we caught on the grill, eating outside on the porch that had plenty of room. The two golf carts were very handy! Some days the guys would go fishing in the morning, then meet up at beach later on, the quick access to the beach and the grocery store was ideal, and it was no big ordeal to go back to the house from the beach to grab a bite to eat or refill the cooler. After beach or fishing time everyone enjoyed the outdoor shower, it is so refreshing! and great to clean up without worrying about tracking sand into the house.Another nice thing about the house is there are different places to gather, the island in the kitchen was perfect for breakfast, the porch was a comfortable spot for the adults to hang out after kids were in bed, The living area with nice big TV was perfect for movie night, and for the kid’s morning TV. I even found myself enjoying the front porch which was quiet and private for taking the occasional business call and catching up on work emails.The house is very light and airy lots of windows lots of natural light, the high ceilings and open floor plan allow for the home to feel open and big, but comfortable as well, the paint colors and decor give off a relaxing beach house vibe. The beds were very comfortable the linens soft and cozy. Being a foodie who loves to cook, the kitchen was the best equipped we’ve ever seen from a vacation rental, there was everything we could have possibly needed, from the very nice cookware to sharp knives and plenty of silverware and dishes for the whole gang, we kept remarking “is there anything this kitchen doesn’t have”?So far this is the nicest, best equipped, and comfortable house we’ve ever stayed at on Bald Head. We felt very fortunate to have chosen this one over some others we were considering.

Beautiful house, conveniently located to both the beach and shopping. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking and hanging around the large island. Beds were all very comfortable and the bathrooms are large. Nicely furnished and I enjoyed having my coffee on the front porch every morning. We will definitely rent this house again.

Visiting this house was such a delight! I immediately loved the front porch and enjoyed my morning coffee/afternoon cocktail out there. The kitchen is well stocked and pristine with a large island, and an open floor plan connected to the dining area and living room. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and the bedrooms were a great size. The mattresses were also comfortable, which is a big plus for me.We used the golf cart to get around town, but we also were able to walk to the grocery store around the corner. There is also a straight shot and quick walk to the beach, or even one of the clubhouses for dining/coffee. I would definitely be going back and would recommend to others!

This new house was well designed, maintained and clean. Our family of 8 had plenty of space though dining should also accommodate 8 as well and not the 6 that was provided. Certainly not a show stopper, we plan to return next year! Management team was very responsive to a hvac issue that was quickly repaired.

We had a wonderful time during our week long stay. House worked out great for our family of six adults. We plan to visit the island again next year and hope to rent this house again. <br/>The only complaint is the mulch driveway. Not sure what that is about! It is not easy to walk on especially when wet.

This home was so comfortable for our "friends" spring getaway at BHI. The booking, tram, ferry details were all so easy and efficient. The house was all that was advertised and more. Beds were super comfy, kitchen well stocked and lots of beach chairs/umbrellas. Renters should bring their own kitchen dish towels. Agency requested that they be washed before departure which is virtually impossible if you're wanting to leave the kitchen tidy before you leave. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

This was the perfect week away with my family of four. The house was clean and had everything I needed. I packed beach towels not knowing what the provided towels were like. I recommend saving your bag space and use the provided towels. The kitchen has it all, well stocked and wonderful place to cook and gather. Breakfast and lunch outdoors on the screened in porch a few time on rainy days was a dream. We made use of the outdoor shower on many occasions! Depending on your plans renting bike for more than a day was a a lot of fun. The golf carts are great to have as well. Limited fishing poles on the island if you have your own bring them.

This is our second year renting this house and it's our favorite so far after visiting BHI for 5 years. Each room has a king size bed, TV and bath. The house is new and beautifully decorated, very clean, checks off everything on my list. Very close to the market and BHI club, central location. The only suggestion I have and it's personal to me is bring some extra blankets :)

The house was beautiful & the lay-out perfect for our family get-together. I originally booked this rental because it was new and also because it had three king beds & three full baths. The house was decorated nicely, very clean & great location. We had issues with two golf cart tires but they were taken care of very quickly. I would definitely recommend!!

The property was accurately illustrated in the photos. It was new therefore had a nice feel. It was clean and our required contribution to the departure cleanup was pleasantly minimal.
