Welcome to the Sea Horse Cottage!

Step back in time to this quintessential creek-side cottage. This cottage was renovated with new bathrooms, showers,kitchen, floors, beaded board, upgraded cabinets, and decorated with Bald Head Island in mind. If you love Harbour Village and the close walking proximity to stores, MOJO's Restaurant, Delphina's Cantina, the beach and ferry, you will love the location of the Sea Horse Cottage. The views are breathtaking from the expansive waterfront porches. Enjoy the screened in porch on the 1st floor or sunbathe and relax overlooking the water views on the 2nd floor. Your kids will love the bunk room that sleeps 2 in the loft. It has the best views in the house from the top bunk, including Old Baldy Lighthouse. Enjoy reading your book or watching an evening thunderstorm from the wrap around 360 degree windows and views. Creek and Marsh front location!

This is a naturalist paradise, enjoy birding, including a variety of wildlife, dolphins in the creek and great water views from the 2nd floor deck. Enjoy quick access to paddle boarding and kayaks on the creek just a short walk from the house.

This is technically 2.5 bedrooms, the upstairs loft, while perfect for older children is not a true full bedroom.

A BHI Club Membership is available but not included.

3 Day Stay stays off season are available, please inquire for details and rates.

Taxes are not included, and are an additional 12.75%

The Master Bedroom is located conveniently on the 1st floor and offers a king size bed and screened porch accessed through French doors. The Master bath features a full tiled double shower with multiple shower heads, marble counters and ample storage space. The Master Bedroom also features a flat screen TV.

The guest room on the 1st floor offers a queen size bed, water views and private bath along with access to a screened porch. Your children or guests will love watching their favorite movies on the flat screen TV.

The loft features 2 built in twin bunk beds.

This home is NOT PET FRIENDLY.

This home will satisfy the most discriminating vacationer and is sure to make your Bald Head Island vacation one to come back to year after year. The new owners have made many updates including high speed wireless, bikes, beach chairs and rocking chairs.

We do not maintain or advertise bicycles at the home, you may rent bikes at Riverside Adventure or Coastal Urge on the Island.

This property is a non smoking property, including the exterior porches and surrounding areas.

We loved staying in Sea horse cottage. It sits over looking a creek and is right around the corner from the marina. Absolutely breathe taking views. The house has everything you would ever need to truly enjoy your stay . The bead board and hardwood floors were my favorite part of the renovations just recently done. The 3rd level is easy access to two cute bunk beds with a great view of old badly. First class in every way and very comfortable. We likevd it so much we just rented it gor next year.

Sea Horse Cottage was fantastic. Perfect location, well equipped, very clean and comfy. My family enjoyed the view from the upper deck each morning over breakfast. Walking to Sandpiper for ice cream and Jules for burgers was so convenient. We'll be back!

we have been coming to Baldhead at least one week every year for the last 18 years and the Seahorse<br/>cottage is our favorite location so far. Our friends stayed across the street at Pequod and it was a precious little cottage that I am looking forward to staying in soon!!

The home was very accommodating and adorable! It offered all anyone would need. Everything was in working order. It was clean, too! It offered many places to sit and enjoy the many views. It was at the Harbor, so we walked, biked or rode the golf cart everywhere. There was so much happening at the Harbor we enjoyed. We will definitely stay there again!

Sea Horse Cottage was probably the perfect size for my daughter and me. We could have had a friend of hers with us given the cool loft at the top of the house. The view of the inland waterway from the upstairs deck is great and relaxing. It needs a grill up there to be convenient to the kitchen and eating area - since there are no steps down to the patio, you have to walk through a bedroom to get from grill to kitchen/eating area and back. One tip - Avoid BHI Club at least around this time of year. Construction everywhere, non-existent service, most things closed at pool.... Not recommended.
