Description

The Cuttlefish is a modern getaway perched atop the hillside of the quiet and accessible South Beach. Sunsets can be enjoyed on the back porch, and the front porch provides the sites and sounds of the ocean. It's thoughtfully designed layout provides an on-suite, full bath for each bedroom in addition to direct porch access. A bunk room on the lower level is a great place for kids of all ages and sizes to have their own fun, and comes with an Xbox and Smart TV.

Cuttlefish (4 Bedroom, 3.5 Bath, Sleeps 10, 3 King Beds and 4 twin beds) is a high-dune home with stunning views of the Atlantic. Conveniently located mid-Island- just minutes to beaches, both clubs, the Conservancy and shopping- this four-bedroom, 3.5 bath reverse floor plan pampers and delights. Enter the three-story foyer and look up at the ship-lapped pinnacle, glassed cupola and awesome modern sculpted chandelier. You’ll appreciate the solid oak flooring throughout as well as all the windows drawing the sunshiny outdoors inside. This level boasts two very large King suites. The first offers a bay window with dune and ocean views, an en suite featuring a custom tiled shower in the round and access to this level’s covered porch. Take a moment to relax on the porch-reveling in the sun sparkling on the water and listening to the gentle waves caress the shore. The second King suite includes porch access as well as a windowed sitting area and very large, spa-like en suite. Between these two, sliding barn doors reveal a cozy bunk bedroom with two sets of built-in beds that sleep 4, great views and porch access. The first floor is rounded out with a centrally-located powder room.

Up the open stairs, the second level reveals a soaring, two-story cathedral ceiling over the open living, dining and kitchen areas. The living space is anchored by a lovely decorative fireplace, features built-ins and shares more sensational seascapes through floor-to-ceiling windows. Step outside to another covered ocean-view porch to catch sea breezes and sunsets. Behind the living area is a chef’s dream kitchen boasting custom cabinets, top-of-the-line stainless appliances and an oversize quartz island with room for both food prep and the breakfast bar. Adjacent is the hexagonal dining space, surrounded by windows and offering more spectacular Island vistas.

If dining al fresco is your pleasure, just up a few steps is the egress to the home’s partially-covered dining deck. This level also houses the laundry room and Cuttlefish's King Grand Master. From here, you’ll awaken to beach panoramas from your bed, your private sitting area or the porch-just outside your private entrance. This suite also showcases a HUGE walk-in and ensuite bath with his and her sinks, a quartz countertop and a custom tiled shower with bench.

BHI Lifestyle membership (golf is available) and shoals club membership are available.

Other property amenities include high speed internet and usage of two golf carts (1 six passenger and 1 four passenger). Beach towels are included, if used please launder and replace before departure.

Bikes and umbrellas are not provided, we recommend renting from either Riverside Adventure or Coastal Urge on the Island.

Pure Perfection at Cuttlefish

The Cuttlefish is pure perfection in every way imaginable. Top of the line appliances, amazing showers and baths, wynding floating staircase!!, views to soak up the sea and sun from every porch, too many things to mention. This home made a great vacation for our family. The house is impeccably clean and well maintained. BHI Rentals was amazing!!
