Breathtaking views of Bald Head Island Harbor and Old Baldy Lighthouse. House deck joins marina dock in rear allowing you to fish off dock. Short walk to beach. BHI Club is available but at an additional fee outside of the rental price. Shoals Club membership at an additional fee is available.

View beautiful sunsets over the ocean with views of two lighthouses. Watch the harbor activity (yachts, ferries, etc) from both the upper and lower decks. Fish directly off the lower dock joining the property. Main house has 4 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths with additional bedroom/bath in crofter for a total of 5 bedrooms/ 4.5 baths including crofter.

Recently renovated kitchen with all-new stainless steel appliances and granite island and counter tops. Two master bedrooms: One is upstairs off the living area and has a 60' plasma HDTV mounted on wall. The other is downstairs with a jetted garden tub and access to lower deck. Tastefully decorated, all hardwood floors. Main living area is upstairs for unparalleled views. Large decks on both levels. Large cart garage with two golf carts provided, one of which is extended length. Breathtaking views of Bald Head Island Harbor and Old Baldy Lighthouse. Short walk to beach.

A pet will be considered for a non refundable $500 weekly pet fee.

Bikes are not serviced or maintained by BHIR, therefore if they are not satisfactory we recommend renting bikes and umbrellas from Riverside Adventure Company or Coastal Urge.

We have been renting different houses on BHI for the past 10 years and this house is in our top two homes to recommend. The bedrooms and crofter are ideal for family gathering and being able to have spaces for quiet alone time. The large dining room table is perfect for family meals and games. The view from the upper balcony over the harbor was beautiful. Audrey was quick to respond to any question we asked her. We have added many new heartfelt memories to our family collection thanks to this lovely setting and home.

Stayed there the week of July 4th. Audrey and Rod were outstanding. Both came by to check on us at different times. Location is great, plenty of space, great kitchen and the incredible views. Loved being close to the beach, creek, marina, etc. Nice beds, TV's. We had 9 people (4 adults, 5 kids) and more than enough room. Highly recommend it...

Beautifully decorated home and extremely comfortable for a family. Terrific location with beautiful views. Fishing from the pier in front of the house resulted in a few flounder being caught. The bicycles furnished were used every day as well as the club cars. So much fun. Would stay here for repeated visits.

The view of this house is unmatched. It’s a great location, and we loved being right on the marina while also walking distance to one of the beaches. The home had a few small issues, but mostly there’s just a lack of small amenities for the price you pay to rent the home. The grill is unusable, doesn’t get hot and is filthy. They only give you the smallest bath towels, and you have to use the same one for the whole week. There isn’t enough garbage bags, dish soap, etc - and if you don’t bring extra, the markup at the market is quite steep on these items. The kitchen items could use a refresh, and the bikes are in bad shape. The home is clean and comfortable, however, and we would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at 49 Transom. The views of the harbor were stunning. The property manager: Audrey was so nice and accommodating in handling the two issues we encountered. The oven malfunctioned but Audrey relived another oven for our use! Also one golf cart was in need of a new battery, which was inconvenient but Audrey even took some of our family members to dinner when the golf cart died. The location was ideal and the house setup was perfect for our family. We will be returning.

Our family had a great weeks stay at 49 Transom Row. Our group ranged in age from 9 - 80. We all found plenty to do and enjoy. The older end of the group loved sitting on the deck and watching the action of the harbor village when they had enough beach time. <br/>The house was very clean and the location is great. We will definitely be back.
