Welcome to 6 Sandspur Happy Place! More Photos being added 4/15/26

This beautiful 4 bedroom custom luxury home is oceanfront 2nd row, and features stunning views of the ocean. Sit on one of the 2 HUGE decks and soak up the sun then return to watch the sun sink into the ocean. The decks are perfect for sunbathing or star gazing. This will be your happy place!

Inside you will find a reverse floor plan with many custom appointments and built-ins. The center point of the home is a large center island with enough seating for 6 and beautiful granite kitchen with white coastal cabinets. Top of the line appliances, and a fully stocked kitchen await. To the right is a beautiful living room with marble fireplace and walls of windows overlooking the ocean. To the left is a dining room, card and game area with built in cabinets and lots of space. All rooms open onto a huge half moon deck overlooking South Beach with unobstructed views.

Downstairs, you will find 4 large bedrooms, and 2nd living area/flex area possible 5th bedroom and a wrap around covered porch. The Master suite will spoil you and features a King bed, custom built in closet, and huge master bath with glass walk in shower and tile. The other 2 guest rooms feature a Queen Bed and a King bed. And the kids room features 4 twin beds. The living room offers a cozy futon sofa, 2 chairs and large flat screen TV which can be closed off for privacy flex space or a 5th bedroom. Across the hall is also a wine bar with built in mini fridge.

New pictures of the renovated bedroom layouts will be uploaded to the website by April 30th.

The garage offers lots of storage with one four passenger golf cart and one six passenger, boogie boards and beach chairs. There is a BHI golf access Club available, and a Shoals Club available at an extra fee.

6 Passenger and 4 passenger golf cart included.

We do not advertise bikes, as we do not maintain the bikes, we recommend renting them from Riverside Adventure or Coastal Urge.

This is the second time we have stayed in this home and we continue to love it for so many reasons. The location is perfect. The cleaning staff that took care of it prior to our arrival did an incredible job. It was absolutely spotless. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a clean rental before. Areas of improvement for the future would be in the primary bedroom the mattress needs to be replaced. I remember it being uncomfortable last year and it continues to degrade. It is soft and lumpy, and every movement can be felt while you are sleeping in it with a partner. A headboard for the bed would also be a nice touch. The primary bedroom could also stand to have a rug or two or an additional table to warm up the space. The sparse furnishings make it very stark and not very welcoming. Otherwise, the home was just perfect. Loved the brand new beach cruiser and we got a lot of mileage out of that. The air pump in the garage is broken, but I just rode the bike to Riverside and they filled me up with air!

6 Sandspur is a great house in a perfect location midway on the island located between BHI club and Muscadine. Two beach accesses within walking distance, two very powerful carts, lots of beach toys, towels, and a few chairs too. The house is nicely laid out with plenty of bathrooms and beds for everyone and was very clean when we arrived. A couple of things that could be improved but didn’t impact our stay: the kitchen could be better organized (lots of drawers with one thing in them) and was missing essentials like baking sheets, the frying pans probably need to be scrubbed well or even replaced, the dishwasher broke while we were there but the property manager was responsive and brought paper products for us to use. The house was also missing a broom so I requested one from the property manager to deal with the inevitable sand, and it was delivered promptly. The closets were huge, honestly you could set up a pack n play and there would be plenty of space (my son had a bunch of interviews and actually took them from inside the closet!) Plenty of bath towels and the washing machine was conveniently located. Overall a great house for our family of 8!

Enjoyed our stay. The main tv decided to go bonkers a few days into the stay, and the cold spigot came out of the wall in the master (didn’t cause any real issue though). Would have been helpful to have directions to work the remotes/tvs. Figured it out for the most part. Extra batteries for the remotes would be helpful too. Overall though we really enjoyed the house and what it had to offer. Alway like Jules Salty Grub and liked Jailhouse Provisions as well. Side note: take your own bar of soap. The little bar provided is awful!
