Isla Bonita is beautifully laid out with lots of decks and living spaces to read and relax or gather in groups, large or small. The kitchen is beautifully equipped and outfitted with everything you could need for entertaining. There are two new golf carts and a third older car that is perfectly usable for larger parties. Our party was seven people who had a fabulous vacation on Bald Head Island. The customer service was excellent in addressing all our questions.

Isla Bonita was an absolute dream! The beautiful screened-in porches, luxurious soaking tub, and unbelievable views made it the most peaceful, serene escape for our family. Every detail of the home was thoughtfully designed, incredibly comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the magic of Bald Head Island. And the golf carts were golden—such a fun and memorable touch!Audrey, Rod, and Mark truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Their kindness, attentiveness, and hospitality completely made our vacation.We have been coming to BHI for years, and Isla Bonita is truly something special. We are so grateful for the sweetest week and are already counting down until we can return next season!

Beautifully furnished. Very clean. Wonderful location. The porches and decks are incredible especially the top floor deck at sunset and the evening. Property manager was very helpful and responsive to our questions. As well as the rental agent.

We had a getaway weekend at Isla Bonita. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed—from beach towels and chairs to a fully stocked kitchen.The location was unbeatable—just a short walk of restaurants and shops and close distance to the beach. One of the absolute highlights was the upper deck: view was stunning. We spent every morning out there sipping coffee and every evening watching the sunset—it truly felt like a private slice of paradise.Dave & Rose are exceptional hosts. Very friendly, responsive, and provided clear instructions for check-in and great local recommendations.Only downside? We didn’t stay longer!Highly recommend this rental for couples, families, or anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable beach escape with a view that’s hard to beat.

We recently stayed at Isla Bonita and had a wonderful experience. The property is well-located, offering easy access to both the beach and nearby restaurants. The interior is beautifully furnished, with tasteful decor that makes you feel right at home. The furniture is not only stylish but also incredibly comfortable for relaxing after a day in the sun. From the upper deck, you can’t miss the stunning views, whether you're enjoying your morning coffee or winding down in the evening. Photos don’t even do it justice!The beach was beautiful. The day was perfect, not too cold, not too hot. It was hard to take our grand-children out of the water! The house was impeccably clean, with attention to detail that ensures a pleasant and hygienic stay.Dave & Rose are EXCELLENT hosts. They were easily reachable, very communicative and extremely interested in providing their guests with a fantastic experience. Overall, we highly recommend Isla Bonita for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing and memorable vacation.

This house is so beautifully decorated with new furniture. The comfy king bed has a pillow top and great support, our sleep was so good. We spent hours on the screened in back deck enjoying the deep cushion seating and scenic river views. It is a short walk to the beach and conveniently close to the restaurants and ferry. Dave and Rose were easy to contact and keep the place very clean.

We walked in and, wow, it was so beautifully decorated with new furniture. The comfy king bed had a pillow top and great support, our sleep was so good, we would not want to stay anywhere else. We spent hours enjoying the padded deck seating and scenic river views. It is a short walk to the beach and close to the restaurants and the Ferry. David & Rosemary were easy to contact and kept the place very clean.

I booked Isla Bonita to house guests who could not fit in my personal home. The new construction of the home was of very nice quality. They layout worked well for our guests (two couples and two singles). The outdoor spaces and views from the rear porches were lovely. Having two golf carts was great (and a bonus third cart for harbor use only). I would rent this property again.
